Why are you so silent? Why don’t you talk much? What are you thinking? Why are you so lost? Why are you so arrogant? Are you used to such questions? Are you often feel emotionally drained by these questions? Well, if your answer is yes then Hii Introverts.

Being an introvert, I am tired of being judged by the people from my very childhood days, as if being an introvert is a disease that needs to be cured. But the truth is, it’s completely alright to be an introvert and above all you don’t, I repeat you don’t have to change yourself to adjust in this world. Rather, introverts are more creative than extroverts and they think out of the box.

Introverts usually have a tough time adjusting to this outgoing and extrovert world. This is because we have our own huge and rich world that exists inside us. Because of this, we are often misunderstood as people with low-confidence, less self-esteem, arrogance, misanthrope, and whatnot. And based on this judgment you will be warned to not go for careers like lawyers, actors, motivational speakers, or professions that require good speaking skills. But it’s a misconception that introverts can’t be good lawyers or actors or professors. Many paragons are great lawyers and actors despite being introverts. You can choose any career which you find interesting.

“THAT’S THE THINGS ABOUT INTROVERTS; WE WEAR OUR CHAOS INSIDE WHERE NO ONE CAN SEE IT” — Michaela Chung

The curriculum in our schools and colleges is formulated in a manner that fosters group work rather than promoting individual creativity. Although, group works inculcate skills like cooperation and leadership skills at the same time they should take into account different students and their strengths. Some students work exceptionally well in their capacities and therefore, this creativity should be nurtured by the educational institutions.

Although you will feel emotionally drained and overwhelmed many times especially when you are surrounded by many people, you can always channelize your emotions in the right direction. You must take the help of music, painting, and meditation to release the waves inside yourself. Sometimes, taking a stroll in nature can be very relaxing.

It’s a harsh truth that you are going to be judged by the people but who is immune from getting judged. You don’t need to justify yourself every time. The ones who love you will understand that you are not arrogant, or someone with less confidence rather a person having a rich inside world. Also, being an introvert you will not have many friends but surely you will have few friends who will mean the world to you. As an introvert, you will always have less but meaningful and qualitative relationships. Many, times you will feel that life is tough for you. You aren’t able to adjust to this world. But then you’ll have to remind yourself that it’s a gift that you have a beautiful world inside you. We are living in a world when everyone is living in superficial worlds that seldom look inside themselves, you are lucky to look inside yourself.

My dear introvert friends, please don’t let this world destroy your peace and creative and amazing world that exists inside you. And remember, Be yourself, the world will adjust.
